Hi, this is the first of many posts which will be updated whenever i get time to post on this site. I think this will basically be my stomping ground for moaning about things that annoy me. I am an absolute Smiths/Morrissey fanatic so i will probably post daily about how great Morrissey and The Smiths are. If i have invited you to take a look at my blogs you probably know me in a roundabout sort of way already but for those of you who dont read on ....
Likes :
The Smiths/Morrissey, Music, Computers and Video Games,
Drinking with mates, Spending time with my dad,
Having my own flat, A little bit of poker, Pool,
Tv/Film. (I think that covers it for the moment)
Dislikes:
Having no money when ive spent too much,
The responsibilities of having a flat, Tomatoes,
Right Wing Politicians, Boredom,
Being told things i dont want to hear.
(I might add to this list in the future)
I am 20 years old and live in a small town called Dumbarton about 15 miles from Glasgow in scotland. I work as a carer for people with learning disabilities for a charity called Cornerstone. I actually really love my job despite it not being my first choice career path.
Moving on from the first post annoyances..
My Dad and his girlfriend Sharon went on holiday on saturday to New Zealand, this is fine and i hope they have a great time whilst they are over there. But (yes there is always a but), 8 days before my Dad was due to leave my granny had a fall in her house resulting in a shattered shoulder and a dislocated upper arm (Not good). This wouldnt usually be a problematic situation as we normally all dig in and help each other out in this situation but with my Dad being away for three weeks it could be quite stressful as i am the oldest of three and am basically given the coveted task of making sure things run smoothly until my Dad returns from Nz. Thats fair enough i can definately handle that no problem. And so the story ends for now or so it would seem, No i get a phonecall from my youngest brother Gavin last night (sunday) to tell me that Darren, (the middle one) had broken his nose... (yep i can feel a blood vessel about to pop). It turns out this isnt such a big deal and Darren has managed to take care of himself which is lucky for an 18 year old.
Well i reckon thats quite a hefty first post and quite a rant to go with it. I guess i will just have to wait and see what happens until my dad comes back. Im sure things will be fine and as Morrissey says "these things take time".
